We are excited!

Updated Saturday February 8, 2014 by Fc Minneapolis Editor.

Following today's events at the St Louis Park High School meeting for stadium users, the club management has told the club website that begining April 2014, all club home games will be played at Orieles Stadium at St Louis Park High School.

"Fc Minneapolis plays from the Hopkins Pavilion, an indoor soccer facility during spring, and it is with great pleasure that we introduce our fans to the new stadium experience this summer", the club management said. Lisa Greene who is also the Director of Community Education at the High School said that the school is excited about the move and she thinks the neighborhood will have a lot to benefit from.

She also added that the stadium is located  in such a unique neigborhood with a combitation of retail, school, rental and residence. "This has been a challenge in the past year", she said. She added that there have been times when events at the stadium disturbed the peace in the neighborhood and therefore urged extra measures to be enforced to ensure that the Fc Minneapolis move will be a swift transition for the school district and the neighborhood.

Due to limited parking on the east end of the stadium, all people coming in will have to use the west entrance by the score board begining this season.

"There is enough space for our fans and players as well at the new stadium. We believe that even the visiting team will have a good experience at our home ground." Said the club management.
